On october 1st 2008,Morgane , a journalist for M6, contacted us after being done our details by the association HeJ. For a report on men wearing skirts, she said she was interested by us ( our testimony of course).

First surprised by the lack of other testimonies from men in skirt, we accepted to be filmed in our everyday life despite our desire not to appear into medias anymore. Morgane explained us that without that kind of participation, the report can't be held. it would have been a pity for the skirt for men's evolution to miss such an opportunity to have this subject in a national broadcast on prime time.

Then, we exchanged a lot of mails and phone callings with Morgane for the preparation of the shooting and to arrange an appointment at home taking place on a monday.i asked my bosses a day off for the occasion.

After this leisure moment,we had to start working. Morgane explained us what to do : when she asked us a question, we answered it with the subject of the question because it won't be heard in the report. By chance, the weather was fine which made easier to film outside.

The shooting started by the reunion with Emma at the "capt'ain" terace and talkings about my skirts and her career. Emma to who I made discover about a year ago that a simple man with classical style could wear skirts, she is for it at 100%. her joy of live, her frankness and her spontanity were here in front of the cameras.

Then, it's time for shooting on Place de la Motte, Caroline and me, hand in the hand, both wearing a skirt. I chose, for the occasion,my brown jacket and the last skirt I made beige with shoes the same colour. Morgane asked us some questions in front of one of the entries of the halles, the scene with Caroline was on the report released.

It's time to go for a walk in the shopping streets in Limoges : we go through  pennevayre street  to turn into Ferrerie street. By a request made by Morgane, Caroline and me walked without taking care of the team who was far behind us. Morgane called us because she stopped a man and his wife and desired that we a conversation about the wearing of the skirt in front of the camera. the husband had fun about the subject, the wife was interrogative about the motivation to wear a skirt and about my work ( saw in the report). I found all this conversation interesting.

We went on our walk and entered a shop for women garments, in the clocher street, who Morgane asked  the shooting rights before. Caroline and me had to do as if we were looking for a skirt for me. morgane interviewed me about the difficulty for a man to find a skirt into women's department. We took the example of a very feminine skirt ( saw in the report). When going out the shop, i showed her a skirt made out a thick fabric  which seemed,as to me, good for a man , ther was only the lack of pockets which are very important for me.

Morgane stopped people in the Clocher street to ask them if they agree to give their opinion on thhe subject and being filmed. She obtained no refusal, so she din't have to stop a lot of people.first, two men. One was about 50 he didn't seem to be against it and found that it suited me well but that he wouldn't wear one ; the other,about 30 was totally against the idea that a man could wear a skirt which was, for him, only for women. but he didn't find anything to justify his rejection after i gave him my arguments composed of  facts and evidences. then, two women inccluding one quite aged ( a part was on the report). She couldn't imagine her husband wearing a skirt but wasn't against the idea and added that my skirt suited me well.

time passes so fast, we had to go home to film the indoor scenes. After putting our town and our house on the film, I made the presentation of my skirts seen at the beginning of the report. I also made the comparison between Caroline's ones and mines. In the report, I have a skirt ineach hand, Caroline's one (purple) and one of mine (kaki). unfortunately, this scene was released without my words so it can be thought that the purple one is mine as well. However, I dare thinking that seeing the report, people understood this sequence.

Then, I explained in front of my computer and more precisely with my website on the screen, the importance of informing people to reduce prejudges and let people know about skirts for men and actions led for several years.

We changed of room to film the scene of sewing and explain why I came to it.

To end, we organized a kind of fashion show with various skirts, a part of it appears in the report. The camareman found my way of walking with my kilt as the highlandre one. Morgane found my black skirt-suit very class.

 It's time for the two journalists to go back to Paris because there were still few hours of driving before they join their family.

The report was broadcasted on thursday,october 23rd 2008 from 6.50 pm then on friday, january 2nd 2009.
