Caroline : prejudices before likes

One day, I went to school to take my children up. An aged woman talked to me (the day before, I came with Jerome), quite loudly (other parents could hear her): "the young man who was with you yesterday, is he your husband ?. "

I answered her that he was my husband. And she said: "that's him who wear skirt ?".

I replied yes. And then, she told me: "isn't it difficult to live with a man like that? It's not quite normal ..".

I kept my calm and I said to her: "My husband is quite normal, you, you are wearing trousers ... Well not so long ago, you would have been shown , insulted ..." .

then ... She approved telling me that I was right and that she didn't think about it. She added that the skirt suited well to Jerome. Since then, this lady still talks to me while waiting for the children.

Like what people spend their prejudices above all, even if they find that the skirt suits the person.
