Waiting for Caroline (my wife) who is in the village, I am preparing myself and the children to go to Gig store to buy a winter coat for one of the girls. Having the time to do it, I decided to put my boots bought from X-tra-X. I put the denim skirt that I wear very often and I decide to give it a try with the sarong khaki I made. I would add a green shirt buttoned at the top and a black jacket reminiscent of the colour of boots. Caroline comes back and we leave all together.
First, we went to the "bookshop", where I bought, the day before, a grids” Euromillions.” In fact, I won 10 €. Not good when you spent 14 € to play. The owner of the bookshop is one of the people who were interviewed during the interview on the street for the article in the magazine Closer done on my port of the skirt (see article Closer). This person was completely against the wearing of skirts by men as he was against the wearing of trousers by women. In short, I enter his shop and I made a general "hello" because there was a small queue of people waiting their turn. The lady working with the operator watched him as to see his reaction. When it was my turn, I appeared before him naturally, even knowing his prejudices. Before leaving I said "goodbye" to both the boss and his colleague (perhaps also his wife). The lady replied with a small "goodbye" discreet and the boss did not bother to open his mouth.
I went back to the car and we went to Gig store, in Limoges a store store, selling a little bit of everything as clothing, decorations, dishes, toys, etc. I followed, with my children, Caroline who was making a little round in women's clothing department. Then we arrived to coats for kids, we chose one that pleased a lot to our daughter. During fittings, a woman between 40 and 50 years run watching everyone from head to toe and his gaze felt on me. She laughed while trying to be discreet. But beware Caroline sees everything! Laughing she accelerated to join her mother who was a little further calling "hey mom mom...» The two ladies passed on in the department and both have watched, the mother had no reaction in front of us and the girl still laughed quietly. We took this opportunity to look at other things in the store. While Caroline looked at toys with the children toys, I went to micros. Two young people between 20 and 25 years, one style jersey football / baseball cap and the other in black with his hair straightened in the middle of the head, passed, saw me and laughed. Then I went to the cashier to queue, just behind these younger. I did not see them teasing earlier. Nevertheless, I saw them laugh when I approached them. One of them called their girl friend to show me. The girl, perhaps hampered by their lack of discretion, sent them away. I gave Caroline a sign for her to join me at the cashier with the children. The cashier next to us was free so I went there. Caroline passed beside these young people told one of our children "we will just see Dad." The young looked at Caroline to see if it was really with me that she would go. As it was the case, they no longer had any reaction. This suggests they laughed for homosexuality they thought that I had and not really for the skirt I was wearing. The skirt was just that point of starting of prejudice. Then we are home.
