As I do every day, I wake up, have breakfast wearing my bathrobe, I wash myself and I get dressed. Unlike other days when I go to work, I put myself a skirt in the morning: a denim skirt below the knees, an orange tank top and opened- shoes (see picture with the same kind of top but orange).

Program of the day: shopping at Leader Price, fair of the school of one of my children and evening barbecue with friends. For these occasions, I decided to keep the same clothes all day.

Caroline, my wife, left home at 10 to help to prepare for the fair, which will take place this afternoon. As for me, I stayed at home to look after children.

At noon, Caroline called me on the phone and we took the opportunity to do some shopping at Leader Price. In the supermarket, nothing happened. Some looks and nothing more. The cashiers are used to seeing me dressed like that, including the one who loves our kids because they are always very polite («hello," "goodbye") and very smiling.

Around 2pm, Caroline left home to take a booth at the fair. As far as I am concerned, I wait that the children stop to sleep before taking them to play some games. Some of the people of the association of parents, Caroline takes part, know that I wear skirts. Some have never seen me wearing my skirt and others do not know. We do not know if my child’s teacher knows.

Around 3pm, the children and I left at the fair; I still wore my denim skirt. My kids played some games. People looked at me but never insisted: curiosity, that’s all. A girl who had a pony for the kids and who passed a few meters from me showed me to her girl friend: "It's him." I met two colleagues who live around. They watched my skirt. One said hello, we exchanged a few words and then we continued our respective paths. I shake hand to a town councillor of my town. I did not see my child’s teacher but my child saw her and she may have seen us as well.

Around 4pm, we left the fair to prepare ourselves for the night at both friends and colleagues’ house s. There will be other colleagues and their families including one for who I do not know if she knows that I wear skirts, and the parents of a colleague who invited us.

Around 5.20pm we left. We were the first guests to be on the scene. A friendly and funny word on my skirt from the colleague who invited us. Then, nobody spoke about my clothes. Except one of the families who, once, saw me with my skirt from Anderslandinger in the shopping mall of Cora (Yoelo from HeJ must certainly remember, it was when we took a drink on the terrace of a café), for others this was the first time. Her sister accompanied the colleague who did not know. She showed my skirt, laughing, to her sister who started to laugh too. I am sure she will talk to friends who invited us and that they will explain. Indeed, those are the first people who had the intelligence to ask for an explanation rather than go towards the basis of prejudice when the article about Caroline and me, especially my wearing of skirts, was released on Closer

I am not so surprised about the laugh from the colleague and her sister because she was also the first to laugh when one of our friends, a little big, put a swimwear to go into the pool of owners of the premises. And besides, it suited her very well. She told me in the pool she did not dare usually. I told her that it was necessary to enjoy life. And I said to her “” Bravo “because often, women who are a little big do not dare to show them in this cloth.

One thing that is convenient with a skirt, you can move from slip to slip bath without getting completely undressed in front of everyone. Simply lift the skirt to move from one to another.

We came back home around 12.30 pm.
