homme en jupe étrusque

The evolution of the Etruscan costume is in 2 phases:

The first phase is between - and 700 - 575 and is known being as oriental by influences from Peloponnesian, Crete, Phoenicia or Cyprus.

At this time, men (and women) wore a tunic - dress more or less long with half-sleeves and a shawl draped on the left shoulder and tied to the right shoulder.

The second phase is located between the sixth century and the beginning of the fifth century and is said ionico-Etruscan. But during this phase, there were little changes except that the coat became a short gown with a draped tunic for kings.
