I adopted the utilitarian kilt with a unique colour, made out of leather with a lot of pockets everywhere. I find this kind of kilt very beautiful, masculine and useful,more leather is a flexible material, pleasant and easy to wash.

• Since when do you wear skirts ?

Less than a year, it's all new for me.

• Where do you wear skirt ?

At the beginning, only at home. since spring is back, I go for a walk dressed like that with my wife and my children in forest or in leisure spaces.I haven't gone into towns centers yet but it won't be long.

• What was your entourage's reaction ?

they found it strange at the beginning but they accepted it after my explainations.

• Who knows and who doesn't in your entourage ? and why ?

My wife, my children ( even if they are very young, they understand a lot of things) and some close friends know.

The rest of the family, friends and colleagues don't know for a principal reason for me : they have a conservative spirit as the region some new things, some changes worry people or are laughed at, I am suspicious about the reaction they could have.I don't feel ready yet to confess them that it happens I wear a skirt as masculine as it can be.

• what kind of reactions from those who know and those you meet in the street ?

My wife told me she stay with me wearing a kilt. ( they don't have all the luck to have a comprehensive wife as mine).

From the ones I meet, I notice only surprised look, smiles even mocking sometimes. I didn't manage to talk with people I met yet.

• For you, what is the best style to have, for a man, to make his wearing of a skirt being better accepted ?

I think more or less the same style as in trousers. Sober, masculine, it is to say with shoes suiting well,T-shirt,shirt, pullover...The most important is that the skirt must be coordinated to the others clothes and above all that you feel at ease.

If we had to impose a precise style for a man to be accepted in skirt,I think we would be in trouble.

• All you want to say about skirt for men ?

Not like many men in a skirt, I do not try to dress like women, I simply seek for comfort in a garment that is old as ancient times and that I would like to see coming back .

Confort, légèreté, liberté et virilité sont les maitres mots de ce vêtement. Comfort, lightness, freedom and virility are the key words of this garment.
