Cessna152towser, un homme en jupe en Ecosse57 years old, married, live in Scotland. Notaire (retired town hall manager now self employed)

  • What kind of skirt do you wear ?

Wear kilts, denim A-line and side vented skirts or box pleat camo skirt.

  • Since when do you wear skirts ?

Wear kilts/skirts almost daily since January 2003 - when I injured my leg and was unable to put on trousers and wore the kilt to work.

  • Where do you wear skirts ?

I wear kilts/skirts almost daily - have worn them in Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, Spain and Canada.

  • What was your entourage's reaction ?

Wife encouraged me to wear a kilt as costume for Scottish Country Dancing. She was pleased when I began to wear a kilt as everyday clothing in 2003. At first she was wary when I bought a skirt but now she accepts it and says the style suits me.

My daughter is a goth and likes me to wear black kilt.

Neighbour also often wears a kilt as he plays bagpipes in a band.

Work colleagues encouraged me to continue weaing kilt to work after my leg injury healed.

  • For you, what is the best style to have, for a man, to make his wearing of a skirt being better accepted ?

Traditional Scottish style kilt with knee socks - or a modern single colour or camo print kilt or skirt worn with boots and thick socks.

  • All you want to say about skirts for men ?

A skirt is so comfortable to wear, I just wish more men would have the courage to try it.
