- Today we talk about men who wear skirts.


- I do not know if we can really speak about tendency, I had not noticed the phenomenon, that is a Net surfer who sent me the address of his website, because him, Jerome, who is French, wears skirts.

And there I could see on the site, that it was indeed an increasingly frequent phenomenon and it is not a trick of transvestite or homosexual. Jerome specified me from the start that he had a wife and children.

 

So what is this website exactly? It is i-hej.com (precision: old site of Jerome), “hej” for “men in skirt”. It is a site to help all men who want to wear skirts, to support them if they want because obviously it is not easy, in street that does not pass unperceived. There are links towards other sites and testimonies and this is how we can see that it’s a real tendency and not an isolated case.
 

On this site, Jerome indexes also sites where we can buy skirts for men and…. Let’s think about   winter, bottoms for men as well! You will tell me that it is enough to buy models for ladies in bigger size. No! Men and women are not made the same, if you did not know it yet; the size of the men is lower.


- And why these men wear skirts?

- For several reasons: to dissociate themselves from the others, to be able to vary, and because it is more comfortable. That it is very subjective questions, even to women; some find trousers more comfortable, others think that skirt is more comfortable, it is the same thing. As far as the glances to the ones who wear skirts are concerned it depends on the circumstances. It goes from no comment to the worst case. But one thing is sure, the more men will wear skirt, the less reactions they will have to face.
