E: You created the site i-hej.com (precision: old site of Jerome). What is the aim ?

J: The aim, in fact… there are prejudices on men who wear skirts, the first is homosexuality, to think that one is homosexual. So I think that it is by information that prejudices could be reduced and I gathered all existing information on Internet at the same place to have access to important information on the subject.

E: How did you manage to think about wearing skirt? In fact, since when do you wear skirts ?

J: In fact euh. ; When I was during summer and I saw the girls in skirt while us, boys, had to wear rousers, therefore undergoing heat. In some ways I was jealous of the comfort the girls had with skirts.

P: it is less easy to pick up a girl, especially adolescent, with a skirt than with a jean ?

J: It All depends on how the girl sees the thing.

E: What made you decide to assume the fact of wearing skirt whereas you didn’t do it when you were a child

J: In fact, during years, I wished I could wear skirts. I did it at home in hiding-place because of the fear of the reaction from other people. And by Internet, I saw that I was not alone to wear skirts that other men also assumed

P: A minority

J: A minority but they were heterosexuals as I am. And I met my wife with whom after time I spoke to about it and who said to me “I adore men in skirt”. She saw one when she was young, she adored, and she encouraged me to go out wearing skirt.

P: What are the reactions of people you meet in your job or in your neighbourhood ?

J: As far as the family is concerned, it ‘s not my wearing of skirt, which is disturbing; it’s more the reaction of people in the village. As far as friends are concerned, I made them discover that a man could wear a skirt, some encourage me at 100%, and I go out of skirt on their premises without problem.

P: Then, what do you wear?? You wear bottoms what kind of shoes do you wear under your skirt skirt ?

J: there, I have boots. I regret to notice that there are very few models of boots for men. And it is rather difficult to find.

E: And do you easily find skirts ?

J: no, not necessarily

E: You brought some models here.

J: Here I have an Indonesian sarong, which comes directly from Indonesia. A friend of mine has a son who lives in Indonesia and who wears the sarong every day., it is a normal skirt for a man over there. I also brought back a skirt “for man” sold on the site anderslandinger

J: Completely.  And that’s because skirts for men are unfortunately rather expensive. One inevitably does not find his happiness in the rays women.
